Full Description:
 Poetry In The Park 2007 hosted by Knuumba Nia Omari, Founder and Organizer is an annual event. The theme is "Artists in Support of Alcohol and Drug Abuse Awareness." This event features live music by "Culture Dred (Reggae Band) and New Jazz Messengers (Jazz Band)in collaboration with some of the most talented poets in the city of Birmingham, such as Obeah, Mojo Mama, John Paul and many, many more. This year's Featured Poet is Shawn Judah.
