 HBO Def Poetry Jam artist Sharif Simmons hosts an evening of performances by local spoken word artists headlined by internationally renowned spoken word artist Patricia Smith. Smith is a four-time Poetry Slam champion, has appeared on HBO's Def Poetry Jam, and is an award-winning poetry writer.
